The point of a dual battery setup is that you can run a fridge and lights all night and the vehicle still starts in the morning. This 140 amp battery manager is what makes that guarantee hold.
It works on voltage. Once the main battery climbs above 13.4V – meaning the alternator is charging – it connects the auxiliary battery and charges both. When voltage drops below 12.8V, typically when you shut the engine down, it isolates the two so your accessories can only draw from the auxiliary.
Dual sensing and fully automatic, with ignition protection and a sealed housing built for under-bonnet heat. All hardware is included, and the monitor dims with your headlights. Supplied as the manager only.
